The First Team lost by 27 runs to Purbrook on Saturday. Some good news saw Ali Bryers return to the line up and take 4 wickets while Bailey Parratt scored his first SPL 50 nearly leading the side to victory. The scorecard is here.
The Second Team beat Pylewell II by 9 wickets. Pylewell were bowled out for 142 with Riley Tona taking 4 wickets and Jack Pinto three. Skipper Rob Leach had to have a bowl as Andy McElhenny injured himself after taking two wickets. In reply Elliott Earl (with his 2nd 50 in a row) and Jon Painter saw the team home in double quick time.
The Third Team won by 6 wickets chasing Suttoners’ 236-5 with John Doe scoring a magnificent 107 entering him into the Hall of Fame.
