The first team finished 8th in their first season in the SEPCL with a 7-7 record. They ended the season on a high with a crushing 9 wicket win against Trojans who were dismissed for just 79. The 2nd Team also finished 8th but with 7 wins and 6 losses it was a case of [...]  The Sunday 2nd team secured their first ever 4th place finish in the Tony Woodhouse Trophy as Hythe took the title. The results so far have been: 22nd May Fawley 157-9 (7pts) Drew Cadnam 242-8 (9pts) 5th June Cadnam 163-6 (4pts) Lost Hythe & Dibden 164-3 (20 pts) 12th June Sway (6pts) Rain Hythe & [...] The third team nearly pulled off 2 huge run chases in a row but finally lost by 20 runs on a belter of a wicket at Hardley School. Ringwood batted first and racked up 231-7 with Broadway top scoring with 75. With Liam Smith away Jon Painter was missing his regular opening partner but he [...] With a lot of players missing for the second team a young line up went to Burley for a mid table clash. However after losing the toss it was the “experienced” pair of Ian Forrest (2 wickets) and Roly Coutts (4 wickets) who destroyed the Burley top order after Steve Thomas had picked up a [...] The first team borrowed Hampshire’s recent tactic and relied on a lot of spin to win their must win match at home to Bashley II. Batting first Fawley put runs on the board scoring 220-8. Andy Parratt scored 40 and Dave Streather 43 but good lower order contributions from Callum Earl (20) and James Woolgar [...] Fawley 241- 8 Tom Gates top scored with 93 as Fawley put runs on the board. There were contributions from Dave and Brendan Streather, Dom Mc and Adam Freeman who hit 4 fours in an over. Romsey were all out for 170 (ish). There were 2 wickets for Adam, Dom, Kev Mc and other [...] What was the best run chase at the weekend? Pollard and Buttler smashing the Notts attack all over the place? Veteran Paul Nixon leading the Foxes to glory against @robkey612 and his Spitfires? No it was surely the 3rd team chasing down 230 to win at Swan Green. Swan Green scored 230-8 off 42 overs. [...] The third team lost by 43 runs in another run fest on the excellent Hardley School wicket. Milford on Sea scored 243-6 with York top scoring with 64. In reply Liam Smith kept up his good form with 53 and captain Paul Hickman scored 51 however Fawley could only manage 200-7. They are now 8th [...] The second team got back to winning ways after a miserable July with a 4 wicket win at IBM Hursley. They lost the toss and took the field however IBM slumped to 39-6 at drinks on a slow and low wicket. Ian Forrest led the way with three wickets but Elliott Earl also cashed in [...] The first team failed to chase a target for the 5th time this season as they lost by 20 runs to St Cross II who won only their second game of the season.
